还是大学二年的时候听到这张专辑POP. 当时是买的磁带，不过在当时而言，效果已经相当满足了。作为电子音乐的先锋，U2在这张专辑加快了音乐的节奏感，更过的糅合了其他流行音乐的元素。
我至今忘不了专辑中那首优美的吉他流行曲 Staring At The Sun，让我回想起大学的一个燥热的下午，我大声吼着“I'm not the only one starin' at the sun.....“， 在专辑中， If God Will Send His Angels， If You Wear That Velvet Dress和Wake Up Dead Man等歌曲，那都是一贯符合U2的Ballad与Moody风格。
