Dear Meta Centre Workers and Friends
I would like to introduce myself - I'm Garfield Pumpkin and I used to belong (or he belonged to me) to Gerald Forbes.
Unfortunately, very suddenly, my owner passed away last Monday. Gerald was working as a maintenance worker in Meta Centre office. We had a great time together, as you can see and judge by my figure. I'm a very gentle and peaceful cat. I don't eat a lot, because I need to loose weight. I'm male but since two years I'm IT (neutered)...and I lost one tooth. Generally I'm in a good health and condition, very friendly and affectionate.
I was adopted by Gerald two years ago, when I was almost dying from hunger and depression. Gerald took a good are of me. He took me to the vet, they cured all my cuts and scratches. The vet checked my health and stated that I'm healthy but I'm FIV carrier. I will live a healthy life but I cannot live with other cats. I'm not danger to human, it is confirmed by my doctor.
I'm very affectionate and my greatest wish is to be with somebody, please adopt me. You will save me from being euthanized, since the cats with my condition are not kept in Humane Society.
I miss Gerald a lot, but I'm really looking forward, believing that somewhere, there is a good heart who will open the arms for me.
