Shoud I download a antivirsu sowfate according to Warning ? hh16182006-12-03 17:47:44

I have purchased a new Dell computer recently and it has Macfree antivirus software coming with it.

However, sometimes, there is a warning window suddenly pops up and saying that " Your computer is runing slow and it may be infected with virus, spyware. Do you want to download the XXX antivirus software ?"

It gives you the choice of "DOWNLOAD" or "CANCEL"

I always hit "CANCLE" and then I uses the Macfree to scam my computer, it finds no virus at all.

It seems to me that the pop up warning window is just a scam, the only purpose is to let your to download the software from that company, am I right ?

or should I download that antivirus software ?

My memory is huge, 1 GB and my disk spce is huge too.
