How to boot computer to DOS? songfan2003-12-21 14:31:00

My current OS is Winddows 2000 professional and file format of C:is NTFS. I want to format or repartition drive C: and then install Win XP. There was an article regarding win98 in the folloiwng link:

I tried to book my computer using win98 startup disk but it did not work. Can any expert tell me how to boot up my computer to DOS and repartition or reformat drive C:?

why DOS? Just boot with XP-CD.
