Help! I cannot run MS word 2000 on my computer now.
I installed Office 2000 before on my desktop (Operation system is Windows Me).
But yesterday, when I tried to open a Word file, the machine is dead.
I had to restart the computer. After restarted, I cannot run Office 2000 any more.
Then I removed the Office 2000 and tried to reinstall it.
But when I installed, I met the following problem:
"Internet Explorer 5 setup: Command line option syntax error. Type command /? for help"
After waiting 5 minutes, the installation window poped up, and then I am able to start install MS office 2000.
After I installed it, I am able to run Excel and Powerpoint.
But each time when I tried to run MS 2000, the computer becomes dead.
And sometimes a window appeared and showed:
"Microsoft word 9.0"
Can somebody help to figout this annoying problem?
