problem so i can start windows normally?

I have an AMD Athlon chipset with Award BIOS, running Window 2000 Professional. I upgraded the Flash BIOS to the newest version, and after that, Windows hangs after POST. BIOS is working ok, and I can boot the system to safe mode, but normal mode hangs.i restored BIOS to original version, but that did not help
