I'm talking about absolutely totally free, so we don't use cell phone here.
You need a computer with internet access.
1. Go to http://www.aim.com/, get a AIM screen name and a aimphoneline which is a free US local phone number.
Now, you can receive calls.
2. Apply for another free local phone number at grandcentral.com(now Google).
When you get the number, set up forwarding to your US DID from talkdigits.
Now, you could receive calls if somebody call either your AIM number or grandcentral number.
Next we are going to make outgoing calls.
3. In grandcentral account, we can make a call back button which was originally used for people to call us. What we do is we generate a call back button.
1) Generate the code
2) Create a txt file
3) Copy and paste the code in the txt file
4) Save the txt as .html (choose all file types)
4. Open the file with IE, we put in the number we want to call, and click Call. Your xlite rings, and you are connected to the number.
