I am an H1B applicant. I met a problem after my submitting H1B application to Immigration. My current position is a staff accountant in Audit Dept. of a small size accounting firm in New York City. However, I have not yet passed all sessions of CPA test and do not get a CPA license. Immigration required me to provide evidence which proves that my position does not need a CPA license to conduct audit. Is anyone knows where I can get those information? I looked through the Statements of Audit Standards, which do not state clearly about which position needs CPA license.
