i have been in usa for 5 years, and then i went to canada. i know teh differences of the two couontry. If anyone have questions, i like to help.
If you can get your usa green card smoothly within 4 years, don't go to canada.
If you think you like to go back to china after you H1 expire, don't go to canada.
If you think you can take the risk to be in the states illegally, don't go to canada.
Anyway,
If you want to stay in us or canada for your life, you can get canada citizenship first and then try to go back to usa.
The green card is the biggest problem in the usa.
I think everything is better in teh states than in canada.Everybody know that.
For me i feel much more stable in canada because i can have canada citizenship don't need to worry about legal status. I can stay as long as like in canada. I can go to usa freely.There are some other benefits, expecially for a family.
Everybody has different background and plan. Some can come to canada, other don't need to. It depends on your situation. Remember that USA is 100% better than canada.how can we stay and have our normal life without green card?
You can survive in canada and don't need to worry about your basic life if you can work hard. So try to make more money in usa before you come to canada and you will enjoy your life in canada and can take time to find a proffetional job or go back to school in canada. After three years, you can try to be back to usa.
