Yesterday I got a postal mail forwarded by my attorney regarding the 485 RFE (see below for the details).

Background information for my petition:

(1) NIW-140, 485 concurrently filed to TSC with RD 09/06/05;
(2) 140 approved on 10/18/06; FP done on 10/21/05;
(3) 485 LUD on 09/08, 10/21 and 10/24 accordingly;
(4) When I did the 485 initial filing, I have submitted employment verification letter(EVL) dated 07/18/05 and tax returns for the last 3 years, but with no W2s;
(4) There is no LUD for this RFE, no message content change and it still reads as
"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on September 6, 2005. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

Feeling about this RFE:
USCIS is still working on 485 cases in spite of the visa retrogression. This is indeed encouraging. I am going to ask my employer to write another EVL and submit it.

Please share your thoughts and any suggestion is most appreciated.
