extending H-1 or EAD? 69532005-11-29 05:58:39

I-485 pending with H-1b near the end of the 6th years. Need to pay about $2000 attorney fee if I extend the H-1 visa. The other option is to get EAD and renew each year until I-485 approval.

Any advantage to keep the H-1b visa? $2000 is no small amount of money...
