"On a separate sheet(s) of paper, please explain how you qualify for an advance parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole. Include copies of any documents you wish considered"

Do we really write a leeter to explain why we apply AP? Or just attache the copy of 485 receipt, I am on 485 pending and want to have vacation back in china. This is the first time for me to apply AP.

some got AP even w/o a letter, but I wrote one. Up to U.
