I applied my Canadian Green Card in April 2004, Bufflo center in US. In October 2004, I got the letter for medical check and other documents. I sent back my fingure print and finished medical check. Since then , haven´t heard anything from them. Most of my friends got their Green Card approval around 6 months after they got the medical check. I tried to contact Canadian Consulate by email and letter, but the only response I got is : we are waiting for some documents from other government and no more information can be revealed for now. I have no idea what kind of document they are trying to get and even when I ask for more details, they just simply say: no more inforamtion can be revealed for now.
I am Chinese now working in US under H1. Until now, my Canadian immigration case has been process for almost two years. I just want to know if anyone encountered the same situation before or knows about anything regarding this situation. I am totally lost.
Thanks for any kind of help. If hiring a lawer could help (I did my own case since I thought my background is strong enough), I will try it too.
