1. H1B got fired in September 2005. currently H4 pending. If new employer will sponsor, will the H1B count against the annual quota? If not, does that mean I can start work as soon as the employer files the petition instead of the April/October limitation? Could you please also provide the relevant regulation/law links?
2. Wife is on H1B. changed her job in November 2005 and new H1, by then my H4 was pending. Got H4 approval in January 2006 and file for new H4 in February 2006. did I violate any regulation/law due to the November/February gap? Relevant links?
