1. H1B got fired in September 2005. currently H4 (2nd application) pending. If new employer will sponsor, will the new H1B count against the annual quota? If not, does that mean I can start work as soon as the employer files the petition instead of the April/October limitation? Could you please also provide the relevant regulation/law links?
2. Wife is on H1B since 2003. changed her job in November 2005 and got new H1, by then my H4 (1st application) was pending. Got the 1st H4 approval in January 2006 and file for the 2nd H4 in February 2006. did I violate any regulation/law due to her November 2005 H1 approval/my February 2006 H4 applicatoin gap? 3. my H1B started in 2002. heard that i can stay in U.S. for 6 years with H1 and/or H4 COMBINED. Is that so? links?
