Will I140, pending I485 still be valid even layoff? a2b2c22006-04-07 03:44:55

Heard that if NIW self petition,140 approved,I485 pending>6months,then I485 will be still valid even layoff--I can hardly believe that.

So is that true? or they will be valid within a certain amount of time?
