I work in University A, and want to transfer my job to University B. My H1 expiration date was on April 30. Both submitted my H1 renew file to USCIS around April 18. Since May 1 I have been staying home because my H1 receipt had not been received. However, last week, University B received my receipt and the professor there wants me to begin working. Can I begin working at Univ B without Univ A having received the receipt? What happens if University A cancels the application, which would form a gap between April 30 and now?
