I called USCIS at 3:00 PM today (Eastern time) and I was told by the representative that my case is in normal process time frame. 3 hour later, I got approval notice:
Current Status:
This case has been approved. On June 9, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.
Here is my info:
EB1 C - multinational executive and manager
140/485 filed on Feb 2005 - VSC
FP code 3: March 31, 2005
140 AD: 1/11/2006
PD: 2/11/2005
485 - LUD updated 5 times after FP, the last one before it was approved was on 6/1/06.
I would encourage you to call the national service center (1 800 375 5283). If your oral English is not good enough, please ask your friend to help. From my case, I believe my call has expedited the process.
