Apply OPT or not? xhs22006-06-16 20:52:27

My I-20 ends on 08/31/2006, and I have got my H-1B approved starting 10/01/2006, and I heard that there are 60 days grace period after I-20 ends. Then do I still have to apply OPT to cover the one month in September?
