As the processing times have been reduced substantially during the past two years, they have been and are seriously considering termination of the concurrent filing. However, unlike the rumor, it will not be terminated simultaneously with the launch of the I-140 Premium Processing Services which will be launched in the near future. It predicts that it may not happen for a while for the reasons that the agency will have to go through the rule-making process to terminate the concurrent filing services. Accordingly, it may not happen within this year. It is a good news in a way, at this least for the time being.
