Valid date on Renew EAD and AP gc-seeker2007-04-07 18:47:52

I received my second EAD yesterday. However, the valid date was start from the approved date rather than the expiration date on the first EAD. Valid period of EAD was shorten by almost 2-months.

However, the situation was different on my renew AP. The start date for my second AP was the expiration date of the first AP.

Can somebody advise if it is normal or mistake on my renew EAD?
