Finally, I completed y GC journey today. The full journal took almost five years and was full of frustrations.
• July , 2002 Officially joined my current employer
• Nov, 2002 Job deion for LC finalized ( Mechanical Engineer, Master + 3 years)
• Nov, 2002 Ad for RIR started ( three job postings in local newspaper plus posting in websites)
• May 21, 2003 RIR case was ted to Texas Workforce Commission. The Green Card journal started officially
• Dec, 2003: RIR was transferred to the regional DOL office in Dallas
• Sept, 2004: Case was received in BEC in Dallas
• Jan, 2005: 45 day letter received and replied to BEC
• Sept, 2005: LC was approved. However, I knew it too late. I can not file 485 because of the crazy retrogress
• Nov 17, 2005: 140 was filed
• Dec 15, 2005: 140 was approved
• May 2, 2006: Filed 485/131/765 as my PD became current
• May 12, 2006: Name Check request was sent to FBI
• May 19, 2006: First EAD (I765) was approved
• May 25, 2006: Finger Print
• June 15, 2006: First AP (131) was approved
• July 13, 2006: Case was pre-adjudicated
• Feb 15, 2007: Second AP/EAD were filed
• Feb 25, 2007 ask first lady help for FBI Name check
• Mar 3, 2007: Second AP was approved
• Mar 30, 2007: Second EAD was approved
• May 1, 2007: FBI NC was finalized per letter from FBI
• June 25, 2007: Approval notices sent (included my family member)
