My mother visited on 8/2002. And I extended her B1 visa for the second half year. The case was proved when I checked it online. The record is still available. But I didn't received the official approve notice.
Now my mother wants to visit me again. I called USCIS, they said if I want to get the official notice, I need to fill in a form and apply for it. The processing delay is two and half monthes.
My question is: does my mother needs to hold the extension approval notice to apply for the visa? If so, could my mother use the copy of printed online document to apply for the visa?
