I had the same problem a few days ago. After doing some research, I found either one could be used, the major goal is to prove you are not going to add some public burden to the US governement.

To be more precise, neither of 864 or 134 is suitable for our situation (adjusting status) as 864 is for family immigration purpose, and 134 is designed for non-immigrantion visitors. However, since some service centers are requesting 134 as for 485 RFE, I firmly believe both can be used. Just file it. BTW, 134 is much easier to fill.
