I made the same mistake as you. I sent my EAD application to Chicago center instead of where my I-485 is. I read your post and understood you file another one for your wife to TSC again. Could you share with me what happened to the application you sent to Chicago? Did you pay another $180 for the second application to TSC? It seems that Chicago center should transfer it or return it.
