My OPT expires in August and my H1-B won't start till Oct. There is a gap just like a lot of people do. But my situation is the company I am currently working for is not doing well and my boss told me that he expects the company shut down within two months. My question is if the company shuts down before I get my H-1B, how much time do I have to transfer my H1-B before losing it. And what should I do now? Thank you for your info.
