Currently I am changing status from H1B to F2 ( my hu*****and is on f1 --OPT). After I got the receipt (not the approval receipt) from USCIS, I quit my current job while my case (from H1B to F2) is pending. but Now my hu*****and got approved for his H1B and his H1B will start from Oct.1 this year. I am worried that I can not get my F2 case approved until my hu*****and's H1b starts. So my questions is: if my F2 case is approved after 10/01/2006, Does that mean I am already out of status at that time because my hu*****and is on H1B and I am on F2. What should I do in order to avoid this "out of status" thing happen? Thank you very much ( sorry I can not type Chinese)
