Chinese passport extension daichiba2006-08-18 16:23:16

Hi
From what I know is the Chinese government will not long doing passport extension starting Jan 1, 2007. (all have to use new passport that valid for ten years) my chinese passport will be expired on Jun, 2008. Is there anyway I can renew my passport extension now instead of doing it on 2008.
my point here is I do not want to get new passport. I would like to keep the old one.
