I called USCIS three times and finally got a nice lady and found out the name check details for my family's greend card. This is a great forum, so I am going to share with you.

The only trick is keeping calling every other week and try your luck. The first two times I call them and only was told "name check pending". I did ask when they sent requests to FBI, they said there were no such infomation (liers!!!). My good luck came yesterday and the nice lady did tell me everything. Name check initiated last July. My name check is pending and my wife's is done last year. Unfortunately I am the principal applicant, so my wife has to wait.
