My parents have green-cards and they plan to travel back to China and may not come back in a year. I am going to apply the re-entry permit for them before they leave US.
But I heard that this re-entry permit which allows a person to live outside of US up to 2 years, can only be used once in life. That means in the future if in case my parents have to go back to China for more than a year, they won't be able to apply for this re-entry permit again.
Do you have heard anything like this? Do you have any experience that you can share?
