I filed I-485 for both my wife and me based on my I-140. Now both of us are stuck there due to my name check pending even though my wife's NC is already cleared. Now my wife has her own I-140. She is thinking file another couple of I-485 for us based on HER I-140. Is there any regulation prohibitting filing two I-485s? I got different answers from different sources. Can you guys help and give your thoughts? I really appreciate it.
