J1 waiver and transfer wqshui2006-11-29 06:47:30

I am planning to apply for a J1 waiver now, but i will transfer to another school next march. if it's been approved by then, that is excellent. but if not, can i transfer? or do i need a new waiver?

another question, i've been told that the once i get the letter from DOS, i can start to apply for H1B, is that correct?
