I filed an application for US citizenship in 2005 and passed the exam in August 2005. Yet till now the case is still pending. I guess it is under background checking. I googled myself and found there were a lot of people in China with the same name, including a pop singer, a community leader, a student, a business person, and oddly, a criminal smuggler. I am not sure when the clearance will be done.
Anyone has the same experience? Just wait?
