Dear all: I have a question about Social Security Tax. My OPT will expire on Aug. 2004 and my H1B has already been effective since Nov. 2003. In this case, do I have to pay Social Security Tax from Nov. 2003 to Aug. 2004? Thanks a million for any timely help. And also, since MBA graduation, I've worked for 4 months in Citigroup in 2003, Net income for 2003 was 45 thousand. It was the first time for me to work in US, does the tax treaty between US and China work on me? Can I ask for that tax deduction in Tax return form 2003?
