Hi, friends:

My H1B is in the process of renewal. The old one was expired last month. I have the receipt of my H1B extension appplication. Can I invite my parents in law to visit me during this period (before my extended H1B is approved)? Will they have trouble to get visa because of this?

It seems like it will take INS 6 months to process H1B renewal case ... my wife is threatening me to quit cooking if her parents don't come here in May.
