Need help on understanding Schengen Visa lifenoteasy2007-03-19 16:00:54

I got a Schengen visa to France, the "from" date is Jan. 18 and "until" date is Apr.18, and the "duration of stay" is 30 days. Does it mean I can enter France before April 18 and stay there 30 days or less? or I need to come back by April 18?
