My current university H-1B visa will expired on May 07, any my university has files H-1B extension petition for me (ted on March 07). However, I recently got an offer from industry and is planning to apply industry H-1B visa on April 07. I intended to use premium process so that I can get H-1B approval within 15 days.
My question is, should I cancel the H-1B extension application once I got my industry H-1B approval notice? If not, will the later approved H-1B extension supersede my earlier approved H-1B application? I know that with university H-1B, I cannot work for any industry company.
