I applied for the family based green card july last year. Since the name and background check is still pending, I can't get green card. I married my hu*****and for 4 years. We had interview on January 4th, 2007. It shows from the online case status that my hu*****and's petition for me I130 is still pending. I didn't apply for the EAD because I currently have the valid H1B visa. However, I am looking for a new job, it certainly seems that I have to apply for a EAD. Or can I go back to China and apply for K3 visa when I come back to USA. Can anybody tell me which way is more efficient. I appretiate your help.
