My I-140 EB-1a applied 9/2005, RFE 8/2006, denied 1/2007. We were informed by our lawyer in 2/2007, and were informed in 3/2007 that I-485s were denied. My wife, during this time, became a graduate student, and has been working as TA using EAD. Now, she needs to stop working, and offered to volunteer until the department found an new TA. Strangely, the department refused to stop her from working and refused not to pay for her work. And my wife can not just stop working without the nodding from the head of department. This is dilemma.
Now, I applied EB-1b with PP and got approved within one week. Now I am preparing the documents for I-485s.
Do you have any solution or any suggestion? Millions thanks for anything.
