My I-485 case is in Georgia but I moved to Virginia a couple of months ago. I didn't transfer my case to Virginia as I'm afraid to delay my case. I went to INFOPASS in Virginia this morning and have been told that my fingerprint expired and they made an appointment for me to do the fingerprint tomorrow in Virginia. I am wondering if I really can do this as my friend told me that I need to do FP in the place I applied for GC. If I do FP here, will IRS find out I have been moved to VA? Will it mess up my case? Please help!!!
