J1 came to US second time (this time), ever stayed in China for 1.5 years (less than 2 years) after the 1st stay in US a couple of years ago.
Situation: can not get a waiver through "No objection" or "IGA", and don't want ot go to Canada. Intend to go back China for 2 years and come back US for other visa.
Question1: is a 2-year enough for next entery to US with other visa? somebody said two times J1 enetries need TWO 2-year home residences, correct or wrong??
Question2: is the 2-year residence in Hong Kong effective?
