Hello, please help!!
I was on F1 and working during summer at a restaurant in 1994 and the restaurant owner asked me for a copy of my SSN. Two months later I quit the job when semester restarted.
Two years later, I received a SSN statement from SSN office and my wage at the restaurant was listed. Then I realized the owner filed SSN tax under my SSN.
Now my question is, during 485, is INS going to detect this unauthorized employment 13 years ago or most likely they wont? I reentered US back in 1998, got a new I94 and INS did not ask me anything regarding that employment at the port of entry.
Very nervous about this incident..._:o
