I got my j-1 waived last month. I bring my DOS letter to ISS office. They apparently do not know much about what they should do next although I told them I need a new I-20 form to apply for F-1 visa. They even think I should just get a J-1 extension as usual since J-1 students don't has 3-5 years limitation. As what I heard that soon after you got a waiver, you can not get an extension. So, can anybody tell me where I can find official infomation regarding this so I can show them.
