Just got off the phone with a NSC officer. She mentioned all pending I485 cases which have been put on staging (holding) area have been assigned with the visa number. They will complete them by the end of September.
This is a good news for all pending case with an earlier RD. As I asked them, they mention they process all case by I485 receiving date.

So anyone with earlier I485 RD will be good as before. Hope everyone enjoy your Independence Day soon.
