Yesterday I called USCIS to inquire my pending 485 (140 aprroved Jan 2006, 485 received early July, 2006 by TSC, FP was taken 20 days later, no update since Sep 2006). The customer service representative said TSC will send me a letter about my status in 45 days. What does it mean? How long will it take to receive a letter like this? Will the letter give more status details than the status online? Anyone had similar experience?
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
