I-140 from $190 to $475

I-485 (including I-485, finger printting, I-131 AP,I-765 EAD) $1010 for
adult
with complementary AP and EAD every year!

current: 325 (I-485)+ 70 FP + 170 (EAD) + 180 (AP)= $745

file second EAD and AP according old fee (if you apply AP and EAD before
July 30) +350=$1095

if you file before July 30th, and need second AP and EAD, it's $305+$340=$
645
$745+$645=$1390

"Adjustment applications and ancillary benefits – The new application fee
for an I-485 is a package fee that includes associated EAD and advance
parole applications. Thus, if you file an I-485 with the fee listed above,
while you will still need to applications for an EAD and advance
parole, you will not need to pay a separate fee so long as your adjustment
application is pending. However, if you filed your I-485 before this fee
change, to apply for or renew your EAD or advance parole, you must file a
new application with the new fee for those applications."

http://www.uscis.gov/files/nativedocuments/FinalUSCISFeeSchedule052907.pdf

you can find the fee schedule from the above link.

I don't know why DOS and USCIS did things like this. But fee is not a reason.

Actually, you choose the worst if you file I-485 before July 30 (from fee piont).
The lawyers hide the truth!
I believe their business is not that good before the "all
current" news is out.I'm not sure if DOS set the "all current" is to collect
more money by pushing more people I-485 before July 30, and then
these cases will delayed for serveral years (as you can image: staying in
some parking lot, no one cares, but applicant needs to renew EAD and AP @645
/year.)

So according the new fee schedule, you pay more for 485 (30% more, not 2.5 fold, if you don't need a AP and EAD, why you apply?) ONLY IF USCIS works pretty
fast and finish you case in one year. If that is the case, I'm sure you will
be very happy to pay this $250 more. At least, I AM.
