Emergency, Pjiang XBT help for Consular process cpt2007-07-24 17:18:10

I find I cannot file 485 for my spouse since she is not in USA,
If I go to Consular process (I824) what is checklist for filing or just file same as I485 as long as adding I824, or I can filing I824 late after file I485 package?
