I have several question about B2 visa extension. I am appreciative if you would like to answer.
My parents are with us on the B2 visiting visa starting from 12/19/06 and expired on 6/19/07. Before the expiration, I filed the application for B2 visa extension on May 24. It is possibly denied based on the email I received today although I did not receive the notice yet. My questions are :
1. Will the overstaying time be counted since 6/20/07 if the application for extension is denied?
2. I heard that people would not be allowed to enter USA for three years in the future if the overstaying in the US is less than 6 months; and would not be allowed to enter USA for ten years in the future if the overstaying in the US is more than 6 months. Is it right?
3. If my parents would like to immigrate to USA in the future based on my citizenship, will this overstaying negatively affect their future petition?
