Here is my Long March to GC.
4/2003 started preparing RIR
10/6/2003 submitted RIR
never received the "45 days letter"
I have PhD. The attorney said it's better to use BSc. Therefore the RIR is EB-3.
6/2006 switched Attorney and started preparing PERM
(the 1st attorney, Li ** in El Monte, CA is so terrible)
8/2006 Filed PERM
8/28/2006 PERM approved
9/21/2006 Filed I-140 (EB-2) (Nebraska Center)
status at 8/23/2007: pending
11/2/2006 RIR approved
1/29/2007 Filed I-140 (EB-3) & I-485
6/20/2007 received a letter for the I-140 (EB-3) case asking addtional
evidence. They letter said:
Attachment
Submit evidence of the beneficialy's EB3 approval notice with
an October 6th, 2003, priority date.
(I really don't know how the CIS officers work. This letter is
for the EB3 case and they ask EB3 approval notice)
7/3/2007 My attorney sent an explanation letter to CIS.
nothing happended for one month. called, called, and resent the letter. finally in 8/20/2007, they received the letter.
8/23/2007 start the long march again.
Anyone is more unlucky than me.
