His perm and 140 approved last year. Just file 485 and EAD 7/2/2007. No receipt yet. His company started to lay off a lot of people. Since his 485 pending time is less than 180 days yet, what should he do to keep 485 valid if (hopefully not) the compnay lay off him? Any suggestion? If he got the offer from the other company, will his pending 485 be valid? Can he carry on his priority date in this case or does he need to start from perm again for a GC? Any one has the similar experience? please share . Thanks a lot!
